Are we in the "End Times"? The fact that Bible-predicted events are
taking place in this world today with an intensity and
frequency as never before does point toward the Lord's
soon return.
Signs of His Coming:
In Matthew 24:3 the disciples asked Jesus, "...Tell
us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the
sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"
Jesus answered them saying, "And ye shall hear
of wars and rumours of wars... nation shall rise against
nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall
be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers
places." (vs. 6-7)
Paul also wrote in II Timothy 3:1-4, "This know
also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,
boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents,
unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers,
false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those
that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of
pleasures more than lovers of God..." What an accurate
description of mankind today!
Are You Ready?
If Christ warned His apostles: "... be ye also
ready: for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son
of man cometh." (Matt. 24:44), how much more should
we today be ready for this Second Coming? You should
also realize that His returning for the Church (called
the "Rapture," an event separate from His
visible Second Coming) may occur at any time as well.
God Has Made a
Way
If you are not a follower of Christ, be assured that
God has made a Way for us to have eternal life through
His Son Jesus Christ and the blood that he shed on the
cross for all mankind. "In whom we have redemption
through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according
to the riches of his grace." (Eph.1:7)
It is through Christ's sacrifice on Calvary and our
receiving Him as our Savior that we need not fear these
"perilous times."
If you are alarmed by the many catastrophic events
in today's world, then you should ask yourself where
you stand spiritually.
The Need to Trust in Christ:
Now is the time for you to repent of your sins and
trust in Him whole-heartedly to be Savior and Lord of
your life. Why? Because He is...
The Deliverer—the
only One who can set you free from the bondage of sin,
and deliver you from the penalty of sin which is eternal
suffering and eternal separation from God. (Rom. 11:26,
27)
The Bread of Life—the
One who feeds and fulfills that inner part of you which
the things of this world cannot satisfy. (John 6:35)
The Prince of Peace—the
only One who can give you true peace and rest by His
Holy Spirit while you go through the problems and hardships
of life; (Isaiah 9:6)
The Living Water—the
One who refreshes your thirsty soul. (John 4:10) If
you desire a new life through Christ Jesus, call on
his Name now and confess to Him that you are a sinner.
Repent; turn away from the sin in your life. Ask Him
to forgive you, change you , and give you the strength
to live for Him.
