Living Word Academy
Principal's
Comments
When I was saved by the LORD JESUS CHRIST on February
19,1982 I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do, something
like the question the apostle Paul asked the Lord after
his conversion on the road to Damascus. The Lord spoke
to my heart and said these few, simple words, "Wait
Phil". At that time I was a building principal at a
local elementary school. I waited 20 years and then
the call came to be principal of LIVING WORD ACADEMY.
How blessed I am to be here, to serve you and your children.
I love them with all my heart and desire the Lord's
finest for them.
I greet as many children as possible every morning
and do my best to wish them well as they exit our school
in the afternoon. I desire to be the Lord's hand extended
in all of my encounters with them. I want them to know
how much Jesus Christ loves them and cares about them.
They respond with love toward me. I get hugs everyday
from the little ones and respect from the older students.
I visit classrooms as often as possible, teach a course
here and there, and have embarked on learning the violin.
I'm in the beginner group with third and fourth grade
students. I'm so fulfilled in working with your children
and thank you for sending them to us.
I work a staff of teachers and volunteers second to
none, who like myself, have been called to this ministry.
They all love your children and do their very best to
serve them. The teachers and I begin each day with prayer.
We bathe your children and this ministry in prayer.
We are here to serve you and provide your children with
the education that is pleasing to the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
The academy is not perfect, the staff isn't perfect,
your children aren't perfect, and I'm certainly not
perfect, but we love the LORD JESUS CHRIST and we are
led by the HOLY SPIRIT and welcome HIS presence in chapels,
our classrooms, our hallways, and offices every day.
The Lord has provided His Church with a wonderful ministry
at LIVING WORD ACADEMY. Working together we can achieve
all that the Lord desires of this ministry.
A Servant of Jesus Christ, Brother Phil Mastroleo
