 Outreach Ministries
Publications
To help make known the life-changing Truth of Jesus
Christ; to testify of God's grace and His work in the
Church...
Such is the mission of the Living Word Publications
Department. And so it has been, since the first camp
meeting flyers in 1973 and the first issue of Water
of Life and Gospel tracts in 1974.
With God's help and many thousands of hours of
volunteer effort, the scope of the ministry has grown
with additional tracts, brochures, posters, and even
a highway billboard. The department also handles the
printing needs of the Church and Academy with letterheads,
student medical forms, report cards, etc.

Publications director Bro. Keith Maloney, art director
Bro. Edward Knack, and head pressman Bro. Charles Seymour
bring professional experience to the publications team.
However, most of those involved have learned their skills
"on the job". Many Saints have served at one time or
another as writers, typists, proofreaders, photographers,
graphic artists, printers, and binders. Also, Living
Word Academy students have gained experience while working
on several of their publications over the years, produced
with technical support from the publications staff.
Water of Life is a periodic outreach magazine containing
selected transcribed sermons, relevant editorials, compelling
testimonies, along with other literary and art work
done by the brethren. Most Water of Life material is
purposely not "newsy", so that even "back issues" can
be used as witnessing tools long after their initial
publication.
Heading the tract portfolio is a series of Salvation-oriented
leaflets that clearly and simply present the Gospel
message in a way that can lead hungry souls to Jesus
Christ. Other targeted tracts address such topics as
parenting and false doctrines. All Church publications
are offered free of charge.
In a land where the concept of freedom of speech and
press has been stretched and distorted to include villainy,
filthiness, blasphemy, and more, the publications of
Living Word Church shine as a beacon of hope, pointing
always to the reality and blessedness of our God and
Savior Jesus Christ.
